About Us

A new shop with an old soul. We are a small, family-owned boutique located in the heart of Downtown Truckee. We sell a variety of unique items that are made where they're designed. Bespoke is the place you can always go to find the perfect gift, and a place of artistic inspiration.

We focus our inventory on one-of-a-kind goods from independent artisans. Our shop is a mix of old meets new, focusing on “slow” products, and local and regional handmade goods. From the things that encourage a vibrant outdoor life, to the things that make your home a cozy paradise. A striking piece of jewelry that makes you shine, or the best card for the best person in your life. Unique finds from all over the nation, and world.

Heather River, the owner of Bespoke, grew up in the hills of Sonoma County and opened her first shop when she was just 16. After attending school in San Francisco for fashion design in 2002, she opened a design studio in Point Reyes, CA where she did custom clothing and alterations. Heather moved to Truckee in 2004 and has since worked with other local artists to help cultivate a vibrant arts community in Tahoe. Bespoke is Heather's third business in Truckee and it is a realization of her dreams.
