Truckee, California (July 8, 2016) - In partnership with bigtruck, Truckee Chamber of Commerce announces the release of the Truckee Base Camp Collection - a new hat design utilizing the Truckee brand logo, tagline “Base Camp for a Big Life” and image of historic highway 40 by local photographer Bill Stevenson. Exclusive local release date July 14, 5:00pm at Truckee Thursdays event, located in historic downtown Truckee.
“We had many options and ideas about how to launch the new Truckee brand in retail. Our collaboration with bigtruck is a natural fit with the Chamber’s support of non-seasonally dependent, year-round businesses that are creating sustainable, professional jobs for locals" said Colleen Dalton, Marketing and Communications Director. “We appreciate bigtruck’s support of the new Truckee brand, and believe their values align with Truckee’s community values which we learned about in the Place-Based Marketing Initiative, particularly healthy lifestyle, family friendly, and community minded.”

The new Truckee Base Camp Collection will be released by the Truckee Chamber of Commerce at Truckee Thursdays on July 14th at 5:00pm in partnership with bigtruck (outside of the Train Depot) with a sewing machine on-hand for custom hat designs. After July 14, the collection will also be available to purchase online at bigtruck.com and on the new truckee.com website launching this summer.
