From the moment Brinn Talbot entered the world of communications and marketing, she has been a beacon of inspiration, a conductor of creativity, and a transparent communicator. Her journey began with a strong academic foundation, earning a bachelor’s degree in communications from Saint Mary’s College in California and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Reno, Nevada. Brinn’s early career entrusted her with public relations efforts for high-profile clients like Ski Lake Tahoe, the Truckee Chamber of Commerce, East West Partners, Red Bull, Jamba Juice, and American Eagle Outfitters. This experience honed her storytelling skills and solidified her industry reputation.
Her passion led to the founding of Switchback PR + Marketing in Truckee, where she focused on lifestyle clients and projects that fueled her team’s enthusiasm. Over 25+ years, Brinn grew the business, balancing multiple channels to create award-winning branding and public relations for both entrepreneurs and high-profile clientele. The highlight of her career was creating Downtown Truckee’s Annual Wine, Walk, and Shop event. Brinn also developed expertise in crisis communications, crafting plans for Ruby Mountain Helicopter Skiing, Squaw Valley, and Tahoe Donner, among others, bridging the gap between ''feeling ready'' and ''being ready.'' Known for her quick wit and positive outlook, Brinn thrives in challenges, striving to achieve client success. Beyond work, she’s a passionate traveler, foodie, and music lover. Brinn enjoys riding horses with her daughters, Sophia and Katarina.
