Donner Memorial State Park - Nordic Ski Trails

Welcome to the beauty of winter at Donner Lake! The park offers cross-country and snowshoe trails for adventurers of all ages, nestled among towering pines, winding along beautiful Donner Lake, and traveling the historic emigrant trails. You will truly enjoy all that Donner Memorial State Park has to offer!

The trailhead for all the trails is located near the Emigrant Trail Museum. Parking for the trails can be found at the museum and near the entrance station. Five cross-country ski trails (color-coded on map in the parking lot of Emigrant Trail Museum) range from 1/2 to 5 miles in length, some with beautiful winter views of Donner Lake.
