Historic Railroad "Trestle Tour"
Driving and hiking tour of historic logging railroads north of Truckee. We ll hike on old railroad grades to see fallen trestles and explore the remains of an engine house, log cars, and log pond at Hobart Mills. The tour includes about 2 miles of easy hiking and some driving on dirt roads. Bring lunch! Sponsored by Truckee Donner Railroad Society
Full Moon Kayak Tours
Float in a kayak on the clear blue water while the sun sets the sky on fire, the full moon rises, and the stars twinkle! The water will be calm and quiet as the wind dies down and other boats button up for the night.
