Wine vs. Beer at West Shore Cafe

Join West Shore Cafe for a five-week series of live music, wine and beer tasting, and food pairings along the shores of Lake Tahoe. Starting Wednesday, July 10 this series will run from 3 to 6 p.m. weekly until August 7. Entry is free and open to all ages and flights of beer or wine will be available for $20 for those ages 21+.  

Wine vendors and beer vendors will alternate each week until the final showdown on Wednesday, August 7. During the showdown, the vendors will showcase their best flavors and the public will get to select the best style of beer and wines to go along with a West Shore Café crafted small bite.  

The final showdown will feature 8 samplings and the food pairing for $45. The winners will be chosen by the public along with a panel of judges, including a cicerone and sommelier.  Whoever has the best pairing wins the ultimate title.  We hope you can join us for a unique twist on wine and beer pairings.
