Thunderbird Lodge Kayak Tour

Welcome to The Ultimate Thunderbird Lodge Kayak Experience! Start the day by meeting your guide for an 8:00 AM departure on Tahoe Adventure Company’s private shuttle! Upon arrival to Sand Harbor, you will have time to use the restroom, apply sunscreen, and enjoy the beach before setting off to explore the only undeveloped side of Lake Tahoe and tour the famous Thunderbird Lodge arriving by kayak! The 1.5 mile paddle along pristine coastline will bring you to the beach at Thunderbird Lodge. After a rest and snacks, knowledgeable tour guides take visitors on an hour walk throughout the Whittell estate. You will then kayak back to Sand Harbor and end your day with more beautiful kayaking.
