Bring the family as we celebrate the holidays, community, and the pioneer spirit among the exhibits at the Donner Memorial State Park’s Visitor Center on December 16. The day will be filled with live performances by Truckee’s favorite son, Richard Blair, storytelling, arts and crafts, Wagons Ho! Junior Ranger programs, guided history walks, scavenger hunts, as well as store specials and free gift wrapping.
Free holiday cookies and hot drinks will be provided by our volunteers to add to the festive day. This free event begins at noon and concludes at 5:30 pm with Jordan Fisher-Smith reading from his award-winning book, Engineering Eden. State park parking fees will apply.
