Sunday Aug 30, 2020
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM PDT
This hike starts at the Hoelter-Hall Trailhead
Hoelter-Hall Trailhead can be found on google maps. Since cell reception is spotty in the mountains, it is recommended that you set up the directions in a place where you have cell service.
From Interstate 80: Exit at the Soda Springs/Norden off ramp. Proceed East about one mile on Old Highway 40 to a flashing light and turn right on Soda Springs Rd. Continue on Soda Springs Rd about one mile beyond Pahatsi Road. You will pass a meadow on your left and then an open wet area with boulders along the roadside also on your left. About 350 feet past Dulzura road on your right will be a sign for the Hoelter Hall Trailhead on your left. Directions from the sign are described below.
From Old Highway 40: Turn at the flashing light in Soda Springs and from there follow the Interstate 80 directions above.
The Hoelter Hall Trailhead. To get to the trailhead, turn left from Soda Springs Road onto the dirt road at the small TDLT trailhead sign. The road goes up a hill and ends at the parking area.
