This class will be held at:
Sierra Water Gardens
2135 Dickerson Rd.,
Reno, NV, 89503
This class breaks the mold on wreath making. The look of our home and how we lovingly create protective boundaries on our front door changes through the seasons. Sierra Valley's Aurora Wellise will teach the art of adorning your home with personally symbolic, powerful and visually beautiful botanic wreaths. The spirit of the plant we decorate our hearth and home with will become as important as how it looks.
Aurora will discuss elements of plant folklore as applied to honoring the seasons, protecting the home and creating sacred space through seasons and holidays. She will bring in examples of her current seasonal wreaths and plant materials including wild foraged boughs along with some organically grown flowers for added beauty. Students will be encouraged to add personal elements to their wreath! No experience necessary.
