Intro to Acrylics: Exploring the art of Sonia Delaunay

In this beginner level class, we will cover basic acrylic painting techniques including color mixing and color theory. Delaunay cofounded the Orphism art movement, noted for its use of strong colors and geometric shapes. Experimental techniques will be introduced, and a fun new approach to painting will be the end result. This class is perfect for someone interested in loosing up their style, breaking out of stylistic constraints, and developing their understanding of color theory.
