Located in historic downtown Truckee at 10115 Donner Pass Rd. From I-80, take the Donner Pass Rd/Downtown Truckee exit — we're just a few blocks in, near the shops and the historic train depot.
About Us
Trout Creek Outfitters – Tahoe-Truckee's local fly fishing hub – has everything you need to get outfitted and ready for your time on the water.
They have a friendly and helpful staff with decades of experience fishing the streams and lakes in the Tahoe Truckee region. With a thoughtfully chosen selection of fly-fishing gear and supplies, Trout Creek is stocked up for the summer holidays. Whether you’re eager to try fly fishing for the first time, or just excited to get out there more, Trout Creek in Historic Downtown Truckee can help. They offer Guided Fly Fishing experience all year long on the Truckee River and nearby lakes. Try a Walk & Wade trip with friends, or a guided float trip with 1 or 2 anglers. The shop also has a complete Rental Program for rods, reels, waders and boots for men, women and kids.
Located at the Loading Dock building near Drink Coffee Do Stuff, the shop is open seven days a week all year long. Hours vary by season, 7am-7pm during the summer, and 9am - 6pm during the winter.
