TART provides reliable service on comfortable buses. Fixed route service schedules vary by season. The Truckee local route offers service Monday through Saturday during the non-winter seasons (mid-March through mid-December) and operates 7 days a week in winter (mid-December through mid-March). Winter service extends to Donner Summit.
During the non-winter season, buses shuttle between the Truckee-Tahoe Airport, Truckee Donner Parks and Recreation Center, Downtown Truckee, Gateway Shopping Center, Crossroads Shopping Center, Donner Memorial State Park and the west end of Donner Lake.
During the winter season, service is also provided to Donner Summit ski resort including Boreal, Sugar Bowl, and Soda Springs.
