About Us

Nine Forest Service campgrounds are located on the shores or close to Jackson Meadows Reservoir. Among them are two group camps, a horse camp (reserved for campers with horses) and a boat-in campground. The campgrounds around the lake are all at about 6,100 feet in elevation. Campers enjoy beautiful views of the Sierra Crest.
Jackson Meadows Reservoir has an abundance of recreation opportunities. Boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing are all popular in the mountain lake. Nearby are trails and roads, including the Pacific Crest Trail. Hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers find miles of adventure around the lake.
