Truckee Lantern Walk

As the days grow shorter, join Wild River for the annual Truckee Lantern Walk along the Truckee River. We’ll gather at Dewbeyúmuwe? Park on West River Street, light our lanterns, and walk a short stretch of the Truckee River Legacy Trail together, singing simple songs as we go, enjoying few performances. The evening lasts about an hour and a quarter and is easy for young children and strollers.
The Lantern Walk is a centuries-old autumn tradition that carries a simple message: as the outer light fades, we each carry our own small light and share it with others. Hosted by Wild River as a gift to the Truckee community.
