The Truckee Chambers Government Action Committee (GAC) meets monthly to discuss public policy issues impacting Truckee?s business community and overall economic vitality. The committee provides a space for Chamber members to stay informed about local, regional, and state policy developments while engaging directly with community leaders and decision-makers.

Each meeting typically features a guest speaker from a local agency, organization, or government body who shares updates on current initiatives, advocacy priorities, or emerging issues affecting our region. These conversations help members better understand policy decisions, ask questions, and participate in constructive dialogue about the future of our community.

Through the GAC, the Chamber works to monitor legislation, represent the interests of local businesses, and build collaborative partnerships that support a thriving and sustainable Truckee.

Meetings are open to all Truckee Chamber members in good standing.
