Connect with local Master Gardeners, scientists, and food lovers at the Grow Your Own Festival, a FREE community event celebrating the joys and benefits of edible gardening in high elevation regions. Formerly individual weekly workshops, now a single day event hosted at three unique locations, Tahoe City, Truckee, and South Lake Tahoe. These special events will feature a high elevation seedling sale (pre-order to reserve your bunch) and gardening demos with a special emphasis on planting, harvesting, fertilizing, pest-management, and watershed-friendly practices.
