Good Morning Truckee: Truckee and Reno Airport Updates

The October 12th Good Morning Truckee will focus on both the Truckee Tahoe Airport and the Reno Tahoe International Airport.

Kicking it off will be Kevin Smith, the General Manager of the Truckee Tahoe Airport for over a decade. Kevin will discuss the latest happenings at the airport, the new Airport Community Team (ACT) and more. The ACT is a monthly virtual public forum established to discuss items of public interest and provide information between the District, airport users, and the general public. 

Next will be Daren Griffin, President and CEO of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. He took the post a little over a year ago, in challenging times for the aviation industry when COVID-19 triggered a steep drop in passenger counts as well as the loss of flights. Daren will discuss the current passenger and flight levels, safety measures in place as well as airport projects in the works.
