Donner Party Hike
25th Annual Donner Party Hike--Explore the Paths of History
October 14th and 15th celebrates Truckee’s rich history with a weekend of guided hikes. Explore scenic Donner Summit with local historians on interpretive hikes.
Reservations are required and include a guided hike, barbeque lunch with music by Richard Blair and afternoon speaker McAvoy Lane, portraying Mark Twain.
Cost is $55 (+ fees) per hiker before September 25 and $60 after.
Special lodging packages are available.
