Creation and Darwin’s Galapagos

Science Professor Derek Larson presents "Creation and Darwin’s Galapagos" for Sierra College Insights, an interactive community program offered at no cost. Through a personal travelogue on his own trip to the Galapagos, Professor Derek Larson will review the specifics of evolutionary theory and explore examples of how evolution is researched today.

Larson will also outline some of the controversy over the theory at Darwin’s time, ending with a discussion on how that divide continues to this day and how we might look to bridge it as we look toward the future.
