Care Flight

About Us

Care Flight has been serving Truckee since 2001 and has a helicopter based at the Truckee airport. Care Flight is a critical care helicopter emergency service staffed by experienced pilots, flight nurses and flight paramedics. Care Flight conforms or exceeds the highest clinical and safety standards and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Air Medical Transport Services (CAMTS). To serve the communities in Northern California and Northern Nevada, we have helicopters based in Truckee, Beckwourth, Gardnerville and Fallon. We also have a fixed wing air ambulance based in Reno, as well as a critical care ground ambulance to further enhance our services. We partner for rotor wing services with Air Methods and for fixed wing services with REACH.
