Lost Whiskey Engine is an improvisational String Band based in Truckee, California. Their influences stem from traditional folk/bluegrass to free-form exploration of jam rock. In addition to a broad range of classic cover tunes, LWE performs a unique catalogue of original songs written by brothers Sean and Conor McAlindin. With Mick James holding down the bass and each member contributing to vocal harmonies, this band is sure to bring an old-time, feel-good sound that'll get you singing along and dancing to the rhythm. Known for both its solid song arrangements and creative musical exploration, this band brings humorous surprises and special guests along for every ride. As they say, you can hop on and off the Engine, but the Lost Whiskey just keeps chugging along!
