Loom Weaving At Sierra Water Garden

THIS CLASS TAKES PLACE IN RENO AT SIERRA WATER GARDENS.
Woven wall hangings are back in a big way! Atelier owner, Heather River, passes on her passion and is ready to get everyone working with yarn. In this beginning class, students will get to know the basics including how to warp a loom, plain weave, create triangles, soumak (fishtail or braid), and rya (fringe). All students will take home their very own tabletop, fully assembled wooden loom, shuttle and comb. This class includes a 1/2 hour break. Ages 14+. You may bring your own loom if you’ve taken this class in the past ($98). You may also borrow a loom from us ($109). Please select appropriately below.
