Good Morning Truckee

Tahoe Forest Health System has rolled out a new Financial Services Program designed to help navigate insurance, billing and financial services. On hand to provide an update will be Harry Weis, CEO and Crystal Betts, CFO who was instrumental in designing the program from the ground up.
 
Landing is a new, innovative approach to tackling the housing crisis in Tahoe. When Colin and Kai moved to Truckee last fall, they struggled with finding a long-term rental for themselves and started to dig into the housing issues in the area. Their collective backgrounds in tech (Colin was an early employee at Lyft and worked at Airbnb) and community development (Kai has an extensive nonprofit background) led them to start a community-based technology solution to the local housing challenges. The goal is to build a trusted online platform where willing homeowners with underutilized second homes can be matched with employers, and then their employees in need of seasonal or long-term housing. You can also purchase multi-packs of tickets for your convenience ? which can also get you checked-in quicker. And, as always, you can still purchase your ticket at the door with cash, credit card or check.
 
Good Morning Truckee is open to the public ? everyone is invited. It is held the second Tuesday of every month at Truckee Tahoe Airport from 7:00-8:30am. Ticket price for general public is $12; Truckee Chamber members $10 and includes a hot breakfast and raffle ticket. Anyone who brings their own traveler coffee mug will receive an additional raffle ticket and chance to win great prizes.
