Animal Portraits in Acrylic

Reno-based artist Emily Reid leads this fun and intuitive animal portrait painting workshop. We will interpret wildlife or our domestic animal of choice in large format with bright acrylic paint colors, colored pencil, and pattern. 

We will draw inspiration from the animals we live with or the animals we see in nature, the colors of sunrise and sunset, the desert after it rains, or the mountains during an alpen glow. This class is appropriate for ages 14+. All are materials included. Participants are welcome to bring in a photo of an animal they would like to paint- or choose from one provided in class.
