The 100th anniversary celebration and re-dedication ceremony for the historic Donner Summit Memorial Bridge (Rainbow Bridge) will take place on Sat. Aug. 22nd, 2026. The free, public event features a classic car driving tour along the old Lincoln Highway and a special presentation of the original 1926 dedication
- 10:00 AM – Classic car and driving tour departs from the Historic Auburn Courthouse (101 Maple Street, Auburn, CA), following the scenic northern Lincoln Highway route over Donner Summit. [1]
