\nThe event kicks off at 1 p.m. at the \;Truckee \;Artist Lofts&rsquo\; 9848 Gallery. The event continues with readings at downtown locations from 2 to 5 p.m. with poetry\, fiction\, storytelling\, children'\;s authors\, non-fiction and more from 48 creatives. All events are free. \; \;

\nIn the evening\, the event will feature a \;
Dark Skies Open Mic Night \;at Alibi \;Truckee \;for all \;literary \;forms - poetry\, prose\, songwriting\, etc. - for works created around a Dark Sky theme hosted by Nevada County Poet Laureate Karen Terrey from 6 to 8 p.m. \;
