DESCRIPTION:In this workshop with local artist Eva Nichols we will go over the basics of watercolor painting\, including color theory\, traditional as well as unconventional methods of applying paint on paper to create the effect of snow. Masking\, glazing\, wet-into-wet\, dry into wet\, and dry brushing techniques. Use of resist\, sprinkling of salt\, and other experimental effects to create a beautiful Winter-inspired painting.  No previous painting experience or drawing skills are necessary\, just an open mind and a playful spirit!
