DESCRIPTION:Tahoe Philharmonic (lovers of harmony) Orchestra and Chorus kicks off Maestro James Rawie's 20th annual WinterFest with the "Go4Brrroque" concert series January 11-18.  The concert series is dedicated to the memory of Mark Lord\, principal trumpet player 2007-2014.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe program opens with Vivaldi's playful Concerto in C for two Flutes\, performed by Lisa Norton and Elizabeth Neudeck\, and his masterful Concerto in G minor RV 531 for 2 Cellos\, performed by Nick Haines and Lou Groffman. \n\nGuest violinist and concertmaster Kevin Matheson joins for J.S. Bach's Violin Concerto in E major and Bach's Brandenburg Concerto #4\, BWV 1049. \n\nSoprano Anne Davidson performs arias from Bach's Mass in B minor. George Philippe Teleman's Concerto for Recorder and Transverse Flute and Strings will be performed by John Cardoza and Lisa Norton. \n\nThe concert concludes with Bach's Aria from Cantata 180: Lebens Sonne\, Licht der Sinnen\, (Sun of All Life\, Light of All the Senses). The concert series is dedicated to the memory of Mark Lord\, principal trumpet player 2007-2014.
