The Foundation co-hosts this event with California State Parks to connect the community to the Olympic Heritage history\, as well as offer an accessible opportunity for new park visitors to explore the park!\n\n\n\nOn the campground side of Sugar Pine Point State Park (not lakeside)\, there are groomed trails perfect for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.\n\n\n\nActivities include a FREE "Path of the Olympians" guided snowshoe hike at 1 pm (gear included!)\, Biathlon Laser Rifle Demo\, snow science\, and Jr. Ranger activities. The Sierra State Parks Foundation will provide pastries and refreshments.\n\nExclusive offer: Get your 20% off cross-country ski rentals from West Shore Sports for Free Ski and Snowshoe Day\, only valid on March 1st for the event.
