DESCRIPTION:The 33rd Annual Cushing Crossing is the best event of the spring season. Join in on the fun\, watch big spills\, and share some much-needed laughs with our celebrity judges and 2 of the best emcees around. Costumes are highly encouraged!\n\n\n\nThe awards ceremony will immediately follow the event at Cushing Pond. Each category winner will win prizes from our sponsors: Yeti\, Smith\, Dakine\, and Darn Tough. Official prize details coming soon!\n\n\n\nPlease note: that this event is subject to change due to weather & conditions. Check the main Palisades Tahoe page\, linked here\, for updates.\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Details:\n\n\n\nTime: 1-4pm\n\n\n\nLocation: Cushing Pond near the base of KT-22\n\n\n\nParticipant Registration: See details below\n\n\n\nSpectating is free. We recommend bringing a chair\, sun protection\, & water.\n\n\n\nSubject to change based on weather & conditions.\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Info:\n\nRegistration begins @ 8am on the KT Deck (SAME DAY as the event).\n\n\n\nRegistration fee is $20\, cash only.\n\n\n\nParticipant must be there in-person to register.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Cushing Crossing Rules:\n\n\n\nSpace is limited.\n\n\n\nCostumes required and scores are heavily weighted to creativity of costume.\n\n\n\nRegistrant must be 18 or older and must be present to register (no one can register on behalf of any competitor).\n\n\n\nThis is a family friendly event. If your costume is inappropriate you will not be allowed in the start area.\n\n\n\nPlease bring your own life vest if you have one but if not\, we will have loaners available.\n\n\n\nIf your entry includes more than one person\, both people must be affixed to the same apparatus.\n\n\n\nNo pyrotechnics please.\n\n\n\nFor the open category\, your apparatus must have the ability to turn and stop.\n\n\n\nMale and female winners will be awarded in each category but only applicable to completed crossings (i.e. If you do not cross the pond you are not eligible for prizing if there are limited competitors in your category.)\n\n\n\nThis Event Is Sponsored By:\n\n\n\nYeti \n\nGoPro\n\nDarn Tough\n\nDakine
