DESCRIPTION:Alpenglow Sports is announcing their eighth annual screening of Mountainfilm on Tour North Lake Tahoe presented by the North Tahoe Chamber. The two-night programming\, from October 16th-17th 2026\, will feature films that are thought-provoking\, educational\, and awe inspiring as they relate to themes including adventure\, social justice\, environment and the human spirit. Both nights will benefit the local nonprofit\, Sierra Avalanche Center.\n\n \nThe two-night film series begins on Friday 10/16\, with an intimate 95-person showing at Alpenglow Sports in Tahoe City. This evening focuses on showcasing films that highlight some of the most pressing environmental\, political\, social justice\, and cultural issues facing our global community. There will be a complimentary dinner available from MOGROG Rotisserie included in the ticket price. Additionally\, beer\, wine\, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase\, with all proceeds supporting the Sierra Avalanche Center.\n\n\nMountainfilm on Tour North Lake Tahoe continues for a second night\, on Saturday 10/17\, at the Palisades Tahoe Olympic Village Event Center. This evening will showcase primarily adventure-packed films that aim to inspire local athletes to chase their own mountain dreams. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy an evening of fun\, games\, and dinner before the show. Doors open at 5pm and the show starts at 6:30pm. Dinner will be available for purchase\, courtesy of MOGROG Rotisserie. There will be a great raffle with prizes generously donated by the brands in attendance to benefit the Sierra Avalanche Center.
