At the 12th Annual Black Tie & Tails Fundraising Gala, over 350 guests, some with their canine companions, will be greeted by a Hollywood-style red carpet entry, immediately followed by the swankiest of champagne and hors d'oeuvre receptions complete with passed appetizers for your dogs, followed by an elegant dining experience, music, dancing, and unexpected entertainment

Join us for a day of river, meadow and wetland restoration. You will work side-by-side with other volunteers to plant plant native vegetation, improve wildlife habitat, and protect sensitive areas. Sponsored by the TRUCKEE RIVER WATERSHED COUNCIL. Pre-registration opens in mid-September.
The 72-mile America?s Most Beautiful Bike Ride circumnavigates the highways clockwise around Lake Tahoe in both Nevada and California. It includes a challenging 800 foot climb to a rest stop overlooking Emerald Bay and a 1,000 foot climb to Spooner Junction. There are also many short rolling ascents and descents totaling over 4,024 vertical feet of elevation gain! The altitude ranges between 6,300 feet and 7,100 feet above sea level and the ride is recommended for conditioned recreational bicyclist, not for beginners. Participants must be at least 14 years of age (please, no children on bike carriers or trailers) and must be experienced in riding roadways.

It features Internationally known Reggae Music, Arts and Craft Vending, Food Trucks and a Beer Garden hosted by a local non-profit. This is an all-ages event and children 6 and under are free.

Brought to you by The Village at Palisades Tahoe and Uncorked the 32nd Annual Alpen Wine Fest includes an all-inclusive wine tasting from over forty (40) exceptional wineries and live music. All proceeds benefit Can Do MS, a non-profit foundation that delivers health and wellness education programs to help families living with MS thrive. With a donation for your wine tasting ticket, attendees receive an Alpen Wine Fest wine glass, the all-inclusive tasting and live music from some of the region's best musicians. The event is open to all ages, however, you must be 21 years or older and present a valid ID to participate in the wine tasting.
