Cosmic Connections: An Evening Under the Stars

Join the Truckee Chamber of Commerce, Tahoe Star Tours, and Truckee Cultural District for a special Community Connections evening beneath the incredible Tahoe night sky, as part of Keep It Dark Astrotourism Weekend!

We’ll head to Northstar for an unforgettable evening of stargazing and exploration with Tahoe Star Tours. Gather around the fire, learn about the wonders of the night sky, and discover the stories and science behind the stars. Then, experience the cosmos through powerful Celestron telescopes, with expert guides helping us explore distant stars, galaxies, star clusters, and nebulae.

This special evening is an opportunity to slow down, look up, and connect with our community while experiencing one of the most spectacular natural resources we have right here in Tahoe—the night sky.

We’re excited to partner with Tahoe Star Tours and Truckee Cultural District, a program of Nevada County Arts Council, to bring this unique experience to our community as part of Keep It Dark Astrotourism Weekend.
