DESCRIPTION:All Chamber Members and fans of art & nature are invited to join Mountain Arts Collective (MAC) and the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS) for a Truckee Chamber Mixer on November 20th. This mixer\, at the MAC gallery downtown\, will be a festive and informative evening featuring art and our natural surroundings. Dr. Will Richardson\, Executive Director of TINS\, will provide a brief presentation on the connections between selected pieces from the gallery and our local natural history. Richardson will be joined by TINS board members and staff\, to answer questions about our unique Tahoe-Truckee mountain environment MAC artists will also be on hand to share how the environment inspires their creations. This will be MAC's 2nd Anniversary - come celebrate with libations and great appetizers. \n\n\n\nCome for networking\, bring your business cards\, and enjoy great appetizers\, beverages\, and raffle prizes. \n\n\n\nMountain Arts Collective is a local artisan shop in downtown Truckee featuring unique\, handmade and usable art\, located at 10065 Donner Pass Rd (in the Truckee Train Station).\n\n\n\nThe Tahoe Institute for Natural Science (TINS) is a member-supported nonprofit organization seeking to advance the natural history\, conservation\, and ecosystem knowledge of the Tahoe region through science\, education\, and outreach.
