DESCRIPTION:The Village at Palisades Tahoe comes alive with the annual Oktoberfest on September 26\, from 12:00pm to 6:00 p.m. The Village will transform into the largest Bavarian playground in North Lake Tahoe\, complete with authentic German beer and food\, Bavarian music and dance\, plus the ever-popular OktoberGames. Enjoy live entertainment by Joe Smiell's 20 Piece Bavarian Band\, the Almenrausch Schuhplattler Dance Troop\, and the Sierra Alphorns\, Alpentanzer Schuhplattler Dance Troop\, accompanied by the Alpentanz Kapelle Band throughout the day.\n\n\n\nThe annual Oktoberfest now features the authentic German Erdinger Weissbier and brand new VIP packages. Authentic Brats\, Pretzels\, Swiss Slices\, and traditional European desserts/pastries plus Root Beer Floats for the kids will be available for purchase.\n\n\n\nOktoberfest is sponsored by the North Tahoe Chamber\, whose efforts include the promotion of community vitality\, environmental stewardship and economic health in North Lake.
