This enriching ancient art is done with wooden sticks and a belt the weaver is strapped into\; using their body to tension the yarns.\n\n\n\nThe course will have students comfortable in their looms\, with a broad understanding of how woven structures function. Students will learn about body awareness\, selvedge correctness\, adding yarn to weft stick\, and efficiency in the loom. Class includes back strap loom\, weaving belt\, yarns\, and anchor lasso that will be yours to take home at the end of the workshop.
