DESCRIPTION:The Land Trust invites you to see what all the excitement is about with our latest project. Join us for a docent-led tour of Carpenter Valley on one of the following dates:\n\n  June 11th \n\n  June 26th \n\n  July 23rd \n\n  July 31st \n\n  August 13th \n\n  August 21st\n\nCarpenter Valley is one of the least known and most spectacular places in the northern Sierra. It has been in private ownership since the late 19th century. The Truckee Donner Land Trust\, in partnership with The Nature Conservancy\, the Northern Sierra Partnership\, and Tahoe Donner Association\, are in the process of acquiring and protecting over 1\,300 acres: Lower Carpenter Valley and Crabtree Canyon. Lower Carpenter Valley will be open to the public in the fall of 2017.
