SUMMARY:Banh Mi & Beer for Project MANA at Alibi Ale Works Incline Brewery & Taproom
DESCRIPTION:Project MANA\, and Kynbo\,a local tech startup and the ultimate free foodie app\, have partnered over the past year to present "friend-raisers"   casual\, community-oriented events to bring awareness about food insecurity and hunger\, and Project MANA's services in our community. \n\n\n\nFollowing a sell-out Banh Mi & Beer event at Alibi's Truckee Public House last June\, Project MANA and Kynbo\, along with Alibi Ale\, are excited to host Banh Mi & Beer in Incline Village\, just in time to celebrate local's summer. The event will feature authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches\, Alibi Ales and a raffle for an Epic Tahoe Local Day Pass. All proceeds after food expenses will go to Project MANA to provide hunger relief. \n\n\n\nKynbo\, co-owned by Truckee locals\, Thao Doan and John Doolan\, support Project MANA North Lake Tahoe and Truckee's Food Pantry\, helping hungry community members in need through the distribution of food in our community\, similar to the help Thao's own family received when they emigrated from Vietnam in 1975. With her parents and six siblings\, Thao and her family left everything behind to start a new life in America\, and her gratitude for the support of organizations such as Project MANA has Kynbo committed to giving back\, and raising awareness and funds for Project MANA helping to keep North Lake Tahoe and Truckee fed.\n\nOver the course of the past year\, these friend-raisers (Banh Mi & Beer and Pho for Project MANA) have raised over $13\,000\, providing 6\,250 meals for the 1 in 7 locals in our community that face food insecurity and may not know where their next meal comes from. \n\nDate:     Monday\, September 17\, 2018\n\nWhere: Alibi Ale Works Incline Brewery & Taproom\, 204 E.
