DESCRIPTION:The Annual Lake Tahoe Backcountry Demo Event is North America's largest venue for all things alpine touring\, telemark and splitboard!\n\nA community-oriented leader in the backcountry industry for 30-plus years\, Alpenglow Sports has worked hard to foster the largest\, and most well-known backcountry demo event in North America. The event is held annually at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort\, a destination known for popular hikes\, great out-of-bounds terrain\, and easy to access side-country. The event provides a forum to perpetuate the enthusiasm for all aspects of in-area and backcountry skiing.\n\nDetails: \n\n\n	\n	Location: Alpine Meadows\n	\n	\n	Dates: January 4th and 5th 2020\n	\n	\n	Time: 9am-3pm each day\n	\n\n\nBackcountry Magazine's Backcountry Basecamp Tour will be at the two-day event as well. As they travel throughout the country spreading safety and stoke\, join the editors of Backcountry Magazine\, alongside guides\, forecasters\, AIARE instructors and gear experts for a resort-based showcase of all things backcountry including demos\, avalanche education\, guided tours and a huge raffle.\n\nThe event is free\, but participants must possess a valid lift ticket or season pass purchased from Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows along with a driver's license and credit card for deposit.
